Summer and I spent six hours Monday being assessed as church planters. Strange feeling because that is all I’ve been doing for eight years. I think it was a good opportunity for me and Summer to prove ourselves – to each other. We are really going to plant a church.

I wanted to write you today. We have some mutual friends on myspace and because of that I bumped into your blogs about 6 months ago. I have read a good portion of them and have often found myself laughing or prodding my own thoughts because of your words. Forgive me for saying but i am so proud of what you are doing. Your family is beautiful, and i am so excited to hear more good things about your “plant”…..it’s what you have ALWAYS wanted to do, now it is around the corner. I’ll be praying for you………..never mind, you hate it when people say that:) HAHAHA. Hats off to you.

It was a great day, I agree. For me, it was full of affirmation and support. And a reminder that we are headed in the right direction. Scary, but exciting and fulfilling.
